The 'pin' portion of this product doesn't quite work

The custom pins looked great initially, but many did not hold up well. The backings kept ungluing with slight agitation, making them unusable. The issue seems to be the backing glued directly onto the painted surface, causing it to snap off with the paint. Not very durable.
