Not Spectacular

Joshua Mason

Quality of the print is barely adequate. You can see a lot of visual distortion in solid colors. I'm not sure if that happens when they try to stretch the print over the button cap, or if the print itself is bad. But, it's not good. The biggest issue is that about 25% of the buttons have a visible crease on the top, about an eighth to a quarter of an inch in length, right where the button starts to curve, and are therefore not usable if you're shipping them out to a paying customer. The quality check before the product is shipped must be non-existent. So, if you need an exact number of buttons for some purpose, make sure you order at least 25% more. Because, about that many will be unusable. It was a stretch for me to give them three stars, but I did so because I've never ordered buttons made from any source before. Are these the best an entire industry can do, or are these especially awful? I feel like I'm being generous, but who knows. I have no perspective from which to truly properly judge at this point. All I know is that the quality, as well as the quality check prior to shipment, isn't good enough for my purposes. It seems like Sticker Mule is trying to find a balance between inexpensive and quality. But, I would have rather paid a little more for better quality, if that's the issue. Finally, another minor issue is that they force you to order in quantities of 10. You can't customize the number between those two poles. That's also disappointing. Would I order again? Maybe if it was for something like a school fundraiser, or some other usage for which the quality doesn't matter. However, if you plan to resell them as pieces, they likely won't be anywhere approaching good enough.
