We are looking for a Chemical/Material Engineer to operate in our factory in Buti (PI). 

The Chemical/Material Engineer will be responsible for supporting the development of new products and the improvement of current ones, with a focus on eco-sustainability.

What you will help out with 

  1. Supporting the development of new products.

  2. Supporting the improvement of current product lines.

  3. Identifying any opportunities directed toward eco-sustainability.

  4. Managing material selection and related certifications based on production feedback.

  5. Drafting related technical and sustainability documentation.

  6. Participating in internal audits of production and management processes.

  7. Supporting  monitoring of the effectiveness and efficiency of internal processes by highlighting any critical issues.

  8. Managing nonconformities.

  9. Incoming goods QC. 

We like you to have

  1. Prior experience in the role.

  2. A degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering or similar studies. 

  3. Excellent knowledge of plastic materials.

  4. Good knowledge of the main project, design, organization and management tools.

  5. Willingness to introduce innovation in the current processes.

  6. Aptitude for problem solving, creativity, proactivity and teamwork. 

  7. Strong propensity for assertive communication.

  8. Knowledge of printing processes is appreciated.

  9. Good knowledge of the English language.

Compensation

  1. National contract: Grafici Editori PMI.

  2. RAL €68.000+ depending on experience (TFR included).

  3. Additional signing bonus: €9.000

  4. Place of work: Buti (PI).

  5. Type of contract: Full time, fixed term/open ended contract.
