Peeled off within hours

I was very excited to add my bumper sticker I ordered to my wooden apple box. I have a collection of other stickers on this wooden surface, so I'm certain it's not a surface issue. Within hours I noticed all four corners were peeling off the surface. I reapplied pressure, it stuck for a while, but peeled right off again. Not what I was expecting for the price.
