Can custom magnets have an internal cut?

Yes! Both our standard magnets and acrylic magnets can include one internal cut. Internal cuts are a great way to add some interest to your magnet design!

• Internal cuts should be at least 6 mm in diameter.
• Cuts should be at least 6 mm from the edge of your magnet.

If you'd like an internal cut included in your artwork, you'll need to note that you'd like this done. There are a couple of ways you can do this:

• You can make the cut transparent on your artwork file. Any transparent areas of your artwork will be proofed as a cutline.
• You can leave a note in the instructions field when you upload your artwork. Just let our proofing team know which area you'd like removed.
• You can leave a note on your proof. Once you receive an artwork proof, you can request any updates or changes you'd like.

If your acrylic magnet has an internal cut, the 10mm magnet will be placed where there is enough surface area to accommodate it. This means that if you have a middle inner cut, the magnet may be placed on one side of your magnet rather than centered.
