It is printed on very nice paper and has a pleasant, almost velvety finish that really helps the dark colors in the image pop when the poster is framed. I ordered 10 of the small pins and when they finally arrived they were pretty scuffed and scratched on the edges. The plastic bag they came in also said there was a protective film on them but mine don't seem to have that. or well, if they do have a protective film I wasn't able to remove it using my nails.
