How do you get the blue film off?

I love the charms and was very pleased with them until I read the instructions alerting me to the film on the charm. BUT....THERE WAS NO INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO GET IT OFF! I don't want to scratch the charm. HOW DO I GET IT OFF!?
